• Police Support 'Healing Gardens' Charity
  Having successfully applied to the Metropolitan Police in Hillingdon for support in their work, Barry Watson a project Officer for ‘Healing Gardens’ was presented with a cheque for £650 by Chief Inspector Maurice Hartnett on 16 March 2010 at the Hillingdon Autistic Care and Support centre in Hayes.
  

• Premises in Hayes Closed to Curb Anti-Social Behaviour
  Following reports about anti-social behaviour from local residents, three addresses in East Avenue, Hayes have been closed. Uxbridge Magistrates Court granted the premises closure orders on 03 March 2010 in accordance with section 11B of the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003.
  

• Reaching out to all communities
  Townfield Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) of Hillingdon BOCU conducted its first "Drop in" surgery at the ‘Hayes Islamic Centre’ on Pump Lane, Hayes on Friday 26th of February. The aim of the event was to reach out to the wider community and listen to any concerns they have whilst also providing advice.
  

• One World Cup - Brunel Bobby makes it a day for the Kids
  Over 200 children took part in a Mini World Cup football on Tuesday 23 February 2010, which was organised by PC Jon Walls, the Campus Police Officer at BrunelUniversity.

• Screen Arch Operation at Uxbridge Underground Station
  Uxbridge North Safer Neighbourhoods team together with British Transport Police (BTP) and London Transport revenue Inspectors carried out a Screen Arch Operation at Uxbridge Tube station on Thursday 18.02.2010 between 08:00 and 10:30.
  

• Police Rescue a Stranded Swan
  Uxbridge South Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) came to the assistance of a swan stranded in an area near the Post Office, which is just off Cowley Mill Road Uxbridge. It appears that the swan had got lost and landed on a busy road leading into a building site.
  

• 14 months Imprisonment for Stealing Money from Vulnerable People
  A man who stole money from vulnerable victims was sentenced to 14 Months Imprisonment on 22 January 2010 at Isleworth Crown Court.
  

• Grievous Bodily Harm - two sentenced after violent attack
  Two men have been sentenced to a total of 18 years at Isleworth Crown Court on 04.02.10 after a violent attack on a 32 year old man.
  

• Robber given 10 months detention
  Abdi Sheik, aged 18 (dob 01.01.1992) of Tudor Road, Hayes, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on 29 January 2010 and was given 10 months detention and training order for the offence of robbery.
  

• Yiewsley Safer Neighbourhood's Team close Cannabis Factory
  A man received 12 weeks imprisonment at West London Magistrates on 06.02.10, after pleading guilty to cultivating cannabis a class B controlled drug at an address in Otterfield Road, Yiewsley, West Drayton.
  

• Hillingdon Marks National Specials Weekend
  Twenty four Hillingdon's MSC officers rose to the challenge during National Specials Weekend. Officers were engaged in frontline roles from Friday 4th February 2010 and their efforts resulted in 4 arrests, several stops and they dealt with numerous incidents.

• Safer Neighbourhoods campaign - Ad van visits Hillingdon
  The Safer Neighbourhoods advertising campaign came to life in Hillingdon when an ad van depicting animated versions of the adverts visited the borough on Wednesday 27 January 2009.
  

• Robber sentenced to three and half years
  A 19-year-old man from Hayes has been sentenced to three and half years in a young offenders institution at Isleworth Crown Court on 8 January 2010.
  

• Three Sentenced after robbery at McDonalds
  Three men were sentenced on 11 January 2010 at Isleworth Crown Court after a commercial robbery that took place at McDonalds on 6 August 2009

• Drink and Drug Drive Campaign
  Londoners are being warned of the dangers of drink and drug driving in the lead up to the festive season as the Metropolitan Police Service launches its Christmas anti-drink and drug driving campaign.
  

• Operation Reclaim - Seizing Uninsured Vehicles
  Operation Reclaim is the MPS response to Section 165a RTA 1988 allowing officers to seize vehicles being driven without insurance and/or other than in accordance with a driving licence.

  The festive season is a busy time of year for everyone, including criminals.  A large portion of crime is committed by opportunists, so this season we are seeking your help to stop thieves in their tracks.
  

• Christmas Crime Prevention Campaign
  Hillingdon Police in partnership with Hillingdon Neighbourhood Watch and The Hillingdon Crime Prevention Panel will be running a Christmas Crime Prevention Campaign throughout December.
  

• Burglary - Close your doors properly
  Hillingdon police are working hard to drive down burglary and catch those responsible for committing these crimes. You can make life difficult for the burglar and reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
  

• Problem Family Evicted
  On 25th November 2009 the Court Bailiff and Safer Neighbourhoods Team officers attended an address in Reid Close, Pinner and evicted a family, who has caused a lot of problems in the neighbourhood.

• Dispersal Order Extended in Hayes Town
  Hillingdon Borough Police in partnership with the local council have extended will enforce a dispersal order under Part 4, Anti Social Behaviour Act 2003 From 12.00 hrs on 02 November 2009 - To 12.00 hrs on 02 May 2010.
  

• 5 Years Jail Term For a Violent Robbery
  Iman Kanani, aged 26, of Welbeck Avenue Hayes, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on the 8th October 2009 and was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for commercial robbery.

• BumbleBee - Burglars Arrested and Vehicles Seized
  As part of ‘Operation Bumblebee’ intensified operational activity kick started in Hillingdon on 19 October 2009 with police horses conducting high visibility patrols in problem areas.
  

• Disqualified from owning dogs
  On 5 October 2009, Uxbridge Magistrates court ordered that Sukhpinder Sidhu, aged 23, of Croyde Avenue, Hayes be disqualified from owning dogs for a period of five years.
  

• Police Praise Young Boy for Quick Thinking
  Police have praised the quick thinking of a teenager whose actions helped to rescue two men from a fire.
  

• Hillingdon Police Commits to Customer Services Week
  The Met registered to take part in this year's National Customer Service Week (5 - 11 October 2009).  The week is organised and promoted by the Institute of Customer Service and is intended to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays within different organisations. 
  

• Hillingdon Schools promote the Youth Online Surveys
  Young people across London are being given the opportunity to influence local policing with the launch of this year's Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Online Youth Survey.
  

• Dispersal Order in West Drayton

• Hillingdon Police Mark the End of 'Week of Peace'
  To mark the end of the London ‘Week of Peace’, on Sunday 27th September 2009 Hillingdon Interfaith Network, in partnership with the Metropolitan Police and London Borough of Hillingdon council, arranged a ‘Peace Walk’.
  

• Cannabis Factories detected by using Thermal Imaging
  SaferNeighbourhoods Teams in Hillingdon have used Thermal Imaging Equipment to close down cannabis factories in Hayes.
  

• Police Tackling Crime on the Buses
  On 10 September 2009 the Safer Transport Team (STT) in Hillingdon joined their counterparts from Ealing and Harrow to carry out a police operation on the 140 Bus route.
  

• Be Safe and Feel Safe in Hillingdon
  Hilllingdon Police together with Hillingdon Council launched a community safety campaign this summer which is aimed at helping residents to Be Safe andFeel Safe in the Borough.
